The only M5 I saw was parked by the Switzer semi. I didn't see any others out there. There was the E46 that the Stance people brought, but not much else. Most of the BMWs I see at racing events in Tx are running the TX mile. Last year's fall run brought some guy from way up north in his M6. There were some 3-series, as well. When I finally go FI, I'll be interested in the mile, myself.
As far as TX2K, there are *way* too many high HP cars running in Houston that week, and you never know what you're going to roll against. Given that, in a stock M5/M6, you'll be surprised at what can hand you your ass if you're in town for that event *lol*. That's why I always take my VehiCROSS, a lot less temptation
