10 days in Germany & Austria. One day spent with M division in Munich. Opportunity to discuss products with M officials & engineers along with a tour of the M engine development shops & dynos. M3,5 & 6's provided for high speed run to Garmich with stops to swap between cars. M BMW museum tour. Welt tour. Munich BMW factory tour. On to St. Wolfgang for M Experience. X5 & 6M unveiled at Scalaria Hotel with dinner with M division officials. President of M division present. Following day spent at Salzburgring driving the X5 & M's on the track lapping. Opportunity to use launch control. Back to Munich then train to Frankfurt. 251 km/hr top speed seen on train. Then 2 days at Nurburgring in BMW formula cars. First day consisted of classroom sessions & test for racing license. Outfitted with safety gear & initial fitting to formula car. Second day started lapping behind a BMW & progressed to lapping behind a formula car. A few sessions allowed with passing in certain areas. F1 start in groups of two as part of license qualification. Back to Frankfurt & home. A few pictures attached.
