I'll start off by saying I love the simplicity and finish of my 3-series interior.
However, regarding your comment about the C63...
Cheap interior? Surely you can't be serious. Have you sat in one? A black birdseye maple with nappa leather C63 is easily on par with a sycamore anthracite with novillo leather M3, just to give an example.
Also, have you ever owned a Mercedes? Their interiors are usually excellent. An S-Class interior simply puts a 7-series interior to shame.
