Here's a brief summary of the episode that has literally just finished on BBC2:

Initially, Clarkson drove the Merc, Hammond drove the M3, and May drove the RS4. As expected Clarkson was banging on about how great the Merc was.

Results-wise, in the drag-race, the C63 came first, with the M3 second, and the RS4 being last. In the circuit-race, the M3 was first by a long way, the C63 was second, and the RS4 was last.

In the accuracy test, the BMW slammed the Merc - the Merc was unbearably innacurate and suffered with some oversteer also.

In the day to day test, the presenters commented on the following:
C63 = Great engine
M3 = Just sublime
RS4 = Very secure

OVERALL...

THEY ALL AGREED THAT THE M3 WAS THE WINNER.
BMW'S BLOOD IS TO MAKE SPORTY SALOONS (= SEDANS) AND THE MERC AND AUDI ARE SIMPLY JUST COPIES - ALBEIT VERY GOOD ONES.

It appears that the M3 is the most balanced and multi-talented of them all. Indeed, from a fuel point of view, it would be the cheapest to run also!
