Wait wait wait... so valves dropping into the cylinder on the Corvette engines, and then GM denying warranty claiming abuse, yet really it's due to tolerance issues, what do you have to say about that?
Or better yet, GM ignition recall? Not exactly a issue is it?
I'm not saying one is right or wrong, crap happens all the time to every manufacturer in every continent. So no I'm not overlooking the GT3 issues, but don't throw rocks at a glass house either.

Look, I love Porsche as the next person, but these are not simple machines like they used to be in the 60s anymore. As someone mentioned, coolant hose for Mezger engines, IMS issue on god knows how many cars, and center locks. Behold:
