I loved the Corvette point-by/drag-race. So typical and so annoying.
I've had the same thing happen to me at Lime Rock with a couple of modified GTRs--rockets on the straight, then wayyyy early braking into turn one (and most other corners). You know you would put down a faster lap time than them if you could get around them, but they make it impossible to get by. And your rhythm falls apart. I guess it's good practice for a competition scenario, but it's very frustrating. Now I just pit in and open up space as soon as I see this happening.
