Of all the exhausts Ive had, the evo sounded the worst. Hollow, boring and lacked character and dimension in the sound...that said I still use an akra x pipe because its damn good, but the full evo system just didnt cut it. I guess Im a snob though as I expect much more at that price level than weight savings and a mediocre (at best) sound.

Akra where clearly going for that non raspy sound though, so yes, it is a lot for the full system.
Same way there are designer makes in this world, you pay for the quality at the end of the day, admitally akra does take the piss.
But the welding is great craftsmanship, the weight is so light compared to stock, and increases hefty amount of HP.
It has the perfect sound for someone looking for that sound, everyones tastes are different i guess.
