stock for stock the boss 302 motor and the gt motor don't really have noticeable hp differences, however the boss motor is designed for racing duty, and is actually used in racing duty in the GTS class. It's also built to rev to 9k rpm and is known to put out 1000hp on the stock block with just a blower
let's just say if this was an option that bmw offered to put in my m6, I would have clicked that option
ohh yeah you could also go to the dealer and pick up the crate motor for under 10k w/o a core charge....
