I'm guessing that part of the reason for it's slower acceleration times have to do with its BS "manu-matic" tranny.
I'm guessing that the dodge's huge front end also increases drag which will slow it down as well. Think of it like this...you have a brick shaped object vs a bullet shaped object...what's gonna pass through the air better...

Very true. The pcm only allows 75% throttle in 1st gear and it reduces the torque during shifts between gears. Damn you Chrysler
