BMW of Monrovia have a terrible service department. My M5 was about 6 months old with less than 10,000 miles when I took it in to get one of the horns fixed. They somehow managed to destroy a valve spring (which they were unable to diagnose or admit). I took it right back to them as the car sounded awful-- head tech said "it sounds normal." As I was taking it elsewhere emissions warnings came on and engine power reduced. Ended up missing two days of work and was without the car for almost a week as another dealer diagnosed the issue.

RPi and South bay BMW (or was it Pacific) helped get things back to normal.

On topic- 22 miles is way to far to raise oil temps or get a diagnosis. Anything more than 5 is a joyride and even that's pushing it.
