As an example, our live-in babysitter has two speeding tickets on her record in the last three years (occurred over a year and a half ago before she worked for us). We added her to our auto insurance policy when she came to work for us. Between the two tickets and her being less than 25yo, our auto insurance premiums would have gone up by $5500 a year unless we shopped around for a new carrier.
