Other than that a real design question. Could all of that welding of each individual piece to make those bends be the simplest, least expensive, least restrictive or even remotely the best way to form simple titanium bent tubes. Hack? I don't know the scientific answer, but all Ti exhausts I've seen have segmented rather than bent curves.
