This is being blown way out of proportion. The vast majority of E93s don't have leaks, mine included, and I live in a very rainy area, use the car as a daily driver, and yes, I take it through car washes.
Internet forums always focus attention on a very small minority of cases, out of all the cars out there. People then leap to illogical conclusions.
