The cold is ridiculous (can get to -50C without wind), and they get dumped with snow. I didnt own a car when I was there, but I dont see how anyone can drive an M3 through a Saskatoon winter.
My suggestion...park the car and take the bus over the winter, or better yet, dont move to Saskatoon!
I second this. I spent 8 years in Edmonton (similar climate), and I wouldn't want to drive an M3 (or any nice sports car) there in winter. I did once see somebody driving a GT-R in the winter, so it is possible if you can't avoid driving your M3.
