Actually it would not make a world or difference, it would make a slight difference. I recently drove a Jag XKR-S on the road and on a track. The ZF auto in that car may not shift as fast as a DCT but it shifts pretty damn fast and is incredibly smooth. For what I would use the car for if Jag went to a DCT it would mean nothing to me.
