Yeah I got stopped on the Beltway Sat night/Sun Am on the way home from pulling a 10hr urgent/acute care shift right before the exit to Rt 50. Was coming down from 95mph+ (acutally was merging into the rt merge lane to take the Rt 50 Annapolis exit and was probably doing around 77mph when I passed him) Think it was a K9 unit...anyway he stopped me asked if I knew that the speed limit was still 55mph in these parts and where I was going and coming from in such a hurry. I told him I just got off a shift, was an MD, and trying to get home and get some sleep before I had to go back in. He said "slow down, drive safe and see ya later." and let me go.
Cool cop; glad I had my white coat and scrubs hanging on the hook behind my head tho!
