that's not that unusual. for some dealers M3s don't fly off the lots. i've seen a couple that sat there for 6 months or so.
your dealer could've also got your car in trade from a dealer that had it sitting there for awhile as well.
a lot of the cars mentioned here are from people who special ordered from a dealer, and were built sometime in 2013.
