Not a bad idea, but my big concern would be clearance in that case. I am sure someone will try it and report whether there are any issues. But even if it does fit, then you would be running some seriously wide rubber up front. You could use a narrower tire of course, but that brings up other issues such as rolling diameter and also the way the tire looks stretched on the rim.
