Lol @ the 6MT comment. I felt the same way when I first started looking at the E9x M3. Couldn't believe the popularity of an 'automatic' in an M3. Every car I've owned has had a manual transmission, and I knew I would do the same in the M3. Then I test drove both...came away so impressed with DCT, completely changed my tune. Of course, I could never be without a manual...the E34 satisfies that fix nicely.
