420hp vs 414 the AWD will have more drivetrain loss but will make that up with grip from a standstill, the RS4 weighs more with more weight in front of the front axle. GmBH did a great job handling that issue like Ford has done with the live rear axle or Porsche has with the all the weight in the 911’s rear but it’s still there.

They are both great cars but I’m thinking the M3 is the better performer. Now I like AWD, it’s handy and confidence inspiring, is it a must have? No, but it helps a lot as whatever car I have is run 16k a year in snow, rain or shine.

I was just wondering why typically RS4’s cost more than M3 sedans and my gut was telling me limited production so supply/demand but figured I’d ask.

It is interesting to note that it seems that AMG cars depreciate more than M cars and RS cars depreciate less than M cars on average, varies from model to model of course.
