If its just the body choice, then you might as well get a 335, same e90/2/3 body choices as m3. In standard form its a better dd than a torqueless m3 and spend 500 on a chip and again faster than an m3, not to mention the joke lounge seats in an m3.
So where is the market for an M3? Cant be badge buyers cause they can get the same badge for 1/2 the price? Cant be performance buyers cause again they can get better for 1/2 price? so whats left  |
A car with 400Nm of torque from a naturally aspirated engine is not torqueless.
Maybe the marketing people at BMW are smarter than everyone thinks, they have been tricking all these people (myself included) into spending money needlessly on getting M cars, when chipping non-M cars is the way to go, obviously (sarcasm, cough, cough).
I do like sitting in my joke lounge seats, they are very comfortable.
