That's odd... I've had the tires insured on my past two vehicles at Discount for road hazard. This was after getting a flat in the first 1200mi on one car and about 2000 on the other. I just had to get the warranty on one and the fixed it and the other required me to buy a completely new tire, but then they sold me the warranty on all four. This is in CA of course.
