Well done sir! BMW paint is tough/hard.

The PC takes a little more elbow grease to remove the swirls and scratches from the paint compared to a flex DA. But it is much safer. I only have a couple years of experience with the PC and I think I'm ready for the flex. Surprisingly, I still haven't found the need to upgrade though. I have jet black paint on my M, and so far, I've only needed one full out compound and polish followed by an annual polish to remove small swirls. When washed correctly, you won't have to do this big job again. If you want a compound and polish that produces less dust than meguiars, try Wolfgang Total Swirl Remover 3.0 and the finishing glaze 3.0(Wolfgang duo). If you don't like glazes, use your usual polish.

I agree. Once you do it yourself, you begin to appreciate how hard detailers work.
