It's not the "whether you are attractive" appearance thing, it's more "Do you appear to be a serious buyer" appearance thing. As a former car salesman... This is accurate. You get paid commission. You gravitate to whoever seems like you'll get the commission from faster.
But for service... I'm not sure if that applies
