The N54 uses a single disc and the M3 uses a twin disc setup.
Twin disc clutches can handle more torque yet keep the drivability much better and smoother.
I was running 484 wtq in my 335, but I needed an upgraded clutch for that.
I was able to run an 11.7 in the 1/4 launching at 4k rpm.
