I had an Aspire One. I will admit that I did drop from about 3 feet and the HD failed. So they replaced it, then I had to fight and fight to get my Windows product code from them because the MS sticker rubbed off on the bottom of it. I never got the code, then when I tried reinstalling another OS the battery failed.
Get the Toshiba... Or I replaced mine with a Gateway LT2104u and I really like it.
Also, bear in mind that these Netbook's all come with Windows 7 basic, which is so watered down you can't even change the wallpaper. Just a heads up. I did find a program that works around that flawlessly, but it's something to consider.
