Gentlemen,

I bought real estate up in Lake Tahoe and need AWD for the winters, looking to get into an E61 535xi Sport Wagon in the coming months. My beast is up for sale.

I bought this car from a M5Board.com member in 2009. I jumped all over it as it is was in great condition and more importantly, it had the M-Texture Alcantara interior (it was a great price too). Since the car has spent most of it's life in Orange County, CA. Trips up to the Bay Area and down to San Diego contributed greatly to the mileage. I am a professional volleyball player and live abroad during the winter when I am competing, at this time the car is stored at my parents house in the Bay Area where my Father runs it once a week and performs regular and preventative maintenance.

During the summer I drive this car as it is my daily but I never abuse it. I have never tracked it, I rarely let it rip in first gear, and when I tap into the cars performance it is normally roll-on surges to pass terrible drivers on the freeway. My goal with modifying the car was to enhance what the M5's performance without much if an compromise to the cars functionality (the main compromises are being aware for rough patches roads and waking the neighbors up with a cold start). I could best describe the driving experience is car as being very vivid and stimulating. The car rides extremely well on the KWs and the exhaust, although it sounds like all hell is breaking loose when you lay into it, remains docile with normal driving and does not drone.

The car has aged extremely well, I would rate the Exterior 9/10 and the Interior 9/10. There is some normal wear and tear that is to be expected for a daily driver of this age but the significant flaws are listed below.

Notable Flaws I will photograph these in detail to show all imperfections
- I had the front end resprayed at Evosport and the paint applied to the front bumper is not holding up very well, the mirrors, fenders, and hood are fine but the lack of durability on the bumper is noticeable.
- There is a very small hole on the left bolster of the drivers seat, caused from normal wear and tear.
- One of the rear back-up sensors needs to be replaced.
- The coolant level sensor is stuck and reads low coolant, this happened in May when I replaced the thermostat and flushed the coolant, it will likely reset when the coolant is flushed again.

* The car is currently sitting on DPE-S20s but next week I will have them removed and reconditioned for sale. The car will come with the Linea Corse Lemans (which are flawless since I only ran the for a couple months before switching to DPEs) but if you want the DPEs there will be an additional cost.

I own the Title to the car. I welcome any one to meet me in person to see, hear, and feel the car. It truly is awesome
I have no plans to part the car out as of now. I also have A LOT more documentation and parts for the car located up North, they will all be included in the sale.
