You may want to check out building a brand new 2012 too. I was looking for a CPO, 2009 or newer, and couldn't find the one I wanted. I didn't want all the options: no DCT, no NAV, no EDC, no packages, etc. A lot of the CPO cars seem to be all optioned out so the prices were more than I wanted to pay for a car that wasn't exactly what I wanted.
Instead of paying mid to high 50's for a 2009 / 2010 with stuff I didn't want, I just ordred a brand new 2012 built to my specs, cost was in the low 60's and new car financing should be 1.9% or 2.9% depending on terms.
I'm going Jet Black, 6MT, 19" wheels, cf interior trim, black leather, heated seats, and the moonroof and that just didn't exist in the CPO system, and I searched the entire US for over a month. This will be my third M3, I've owned an E36 and currently own a AA supercharged E46 M3 coupe. I purchased both of those CPO and never thought I would buy brand new but this time around it just made sense for me.
