I never really drive around that range so it's perfect. Hwy cruising I am around 3000, daily cruise I try to keep between 2500-3000 so I have some torque for passing. Will only drone when I'm being extremely lazy. I heard that with our cars its better to cruise a little higher RPM anyway (~3000rpm-ish) because its more fuel efficient to cruise partial throttle, higher RPM.. Than say 1500-ish RPM with throttle bodies more open.. Is there truth to this?

Sorry for hijacking my own thread
Probably not since the DCT is programmed to get you to around 2000RPM as much as possible.

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."
