yeh, i think ur right, cause when i want some slip from traffic light which only need like 3k rpm, i never got this lag, because i just got my m3 for 2 weeks, i still need to learn how to drive this car. btw, i heard there is something called wind booster, it puts underneath the gas pedal, can i get that to solve this problem?
