Correct. BMW is very smart. Imagine they took an e92, inserted the CF front seats in black and CF hood, otherwise the interior and exterior were the same. The car would drop 100 lbs from its weight and no one would care because it didn't look new, different, and flashy.
Everyone wants to point the finger at marketing, but seriously, this is the kind of marketing that makes the brand interesting.
