So glad I found this. I have a 335 so I never come to the M3 DIY section. Brought my car to the dealer back when it was under warranty for the clicking clutch... they told me it needed a new spring, and they claim to have ordered it. Waited about a month, then I got sick of the excuses and just dealt with it. Was always planning to poke around under there, never got to it.
When I saw this thread I ran out and did it in the rain this morning. THIS MAKES THE CLUTCH FEEL LIKE A REAL MT CAR AND FIXED THE CLICKING!! Wish I could take the POS spring and shove it up some retarded BMW engineer's a$$ (sorry no offense to anyone here who is actually retarded - and I know some are). THANKS FOR THIS GREAT TIP.
