The only way that I can think of that you'd have this much shock travel is if you shaved the upper mounts/guide supports more than Dinan does, which is certainly possible... I just don't know how you aren't rubbing at full compression if you did. I'm not trying to argue with you, I honestly want to understand the difference, because I like the way your car looks.
Do you know how much you shaved the upper mounts? If ZCP shocks are 10mm shorter and you shaved the guide supports more than Dinan, I guess that adds up.
Got some pictures of the modified guide supports? (Further, if I sent you a set, would you be willing to shave them for me? I'd be happy to pay an hour or two of labor... or whatever is fair.)
