(I know it is blasphemy to say this on a BMW forum- I do own an M3 and love BMW, but I am sure the flame suit should be put on anyway) It would not have been modded probably like the M and would have just been another GT-R in the crowd I guess.
a gtr would be a fast car too but an m3 with RWD would make a very fun track car. so depends on what you want. all out speed or more 'fun' factor? i'm not a professional racers so i know i would pick an m3 for the track rather than a gtr, mostly for the fun factor.
