Struts are very simlar in compression and rebound travel on the E9x chassis so make sense to use them. If you were to look at KW, TCK Racing, Ohlins and many others do basically the same. The rear dampers are similar to E46M3 specs, again with very similar compression and rebound travel.
A couple of sets have been sold, one with 400F and 800R, and the other with 450F and 900R.
