Yeah not sure if I want an heirloom piece so soon esp if Im gonna practice with it alot (Im assuming these things depreciate like cars or is this a bad assumption?) but that is definitely something I want to get later once Im more familiar.
Also I always see a ton of LEO Refurbs on slickdeals, are these usually not a good idea?? I figured I can get into something relatively inexpensive and since Im a noob it wont matter too much that its a refurb.

LE refurbs are a great way to get a good deal, depending on the brand. Sig, yes. Glock, NO! As long as you don't mind the cosmetic blemishes, they are great guns.
