Nikki, Glad for you and your car. I'm up in Wellington not too far away. This is by the worst hurricane I've seen in 6 years of living in SF. We were without power for a week, but that's not bad considering how people in Lake Worth and Lantana are faring.
My E90 was safe in the garage, but one of my cars had a punctured tail lamp due to a neighbors tree branch hitting it. Several of my neighbors opted to store their lawn furniture in the garage instead of their cars. The consequence to that was roof tiles came crashing through the glass; not a smart move on their part.
It will take a few months to restore paradise back to its old form!
