Damn. I just checked online and Costco doesn't carry it anymore. I know I've seem something in the warehouse that was low profile too.

Here are some alternatives:

You can usually get a cheap torque wrench from Kragen/Pepboys/Autozone and they usually carry the 3-5" extension and 17mm deep socket. Make sure it fits your wheels before you leave since you may need a thin walled socket.

Might as well get a couple wheels hanger's too. They make getting the wheels on so much easier.

The RS Tecknic one's are too thick for my RAC wheels, but may fit your BBS. They fit the stock and APEX track wheel without problem. The Ultimate garage ones should fit all wheels since they're thinner.

Then you'll need a decent tire pressure gauge. Maybe something like this, which is pretty cheap and has a bleeder valve which is nice at the track:

BUT, shouldn't you have an air compressor at home too since you'll be letting so much air out of your tires on a hot track day? Besides, who want's all the water/moisture in their tires that you get at the gas station? That's probably another $100 for a simple air compressor. Since you have the air compressor, then maybe you might as well splurg on a tire pressure gauge that will allow you to read the pressure while you're inflating and bleeding air out, like this one:

It starts to add up quickly.
Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."
