See this is the thing with parents buying their kids cars like that. I'm 25 and bought the car myself, and I was a little concerned making the purchase that it would be a tough car to top when it was time for a new one. So many kids I know come from famillies rich enough to get them used to a really high standard of life early on, but not quite rich enough to be able to not have them hit reality at some point.
Similar to the M45 guy, a kid I knew in my highschool went out joyriding in his dad's Range Rover with no license and ran it into a tree. He still got a new SUV for his 16th birthday though (it was a Blazer i think). I don't get it either, but I sure wouldn't have turned it down if I was him.
