As far as my experience goes it looks like they grip a little BETTER than the PS2s in dry conditions (disclaimer: I did go 10cm wider front & rear
). My car used to spin all the way through 1st and 2nd, but now it hooks up in 2nd and flat out MOVES
You also mentioned noise, and I'm happy to report that they are much more quiet than the PS2s, and they seem to absorb bumps a little better.
For the money you really can't go wrong; especially if you're not pushing your car to the limits every day.

Hate when people make a negative comment without specifics. I don't personally care if they grip less than PS2s if they're quieter; I don't track my car, just like many other owners, making the PS2s all but overkill. Thx.
