Winter Tire Thread '09

People are starting to think about winter setups for the M3. The Blizzak LM25's, a favorite from last year, are on a closeout special. They will be replaced in most sizes by the LM60. I do not know much about the LM60's yet, but they should be at least a little bit of an upgrade.

TPMS (Tire Pressure) sensors are available for $49 each currently. You can run a winter package without them, but be prepared for the annoyance of the light all the time, and a chime on startup.

It is still early, but I am getting a lot of PM's about this suddenly, so I figured I'd open up the discussion.
