I'm sure BMW could make a performance car to take on Ferrari but it wont be infussed with a soul or give you half the experiance. Exactly. BMW is just sticking to it's market. It doesn't need it's own version of the SLR because all you have to do is look at... the SLR. Despite it's performance and the McLaren badge on it, it's sales were unbelievably shitty and that's when the economy was good.
