Wow, I thought LA, CA would be much more strict than that.

Its base fine of anywhere between $80~$100 for not having front plate.
I've got about 5 front plate tickets, but thats not stopping me from
not having them on. Any car looks better without front plate in my opinion..
Unless its one of those sexy plate like european plates.

I know its there for safety issue, but i personally think cop can always
catch you no matter where the plate is. Its really pointless law I think.
I know washington state is currently working on passing a law that does
not require front plate anymore.
