Ended up selling (back to stock) before I seriously considered that though. What are your thoughts on this?

I reckon you should just go for the short-shifter installation when you fit your exhaust. IMHO, i don't think the chip flash is necessary at this point in time because the response i got from the exhaust alone was noticeable through the rev ranges. The fitting of the intake was the added bonus to free up the car.
