I had a FK8 before i came back to the E90 M3. It really depends what you're looking for....
both have 4 doors
FK8 is faster stock track car. E9X is more fun on the street
FK8 sounds like a pig, E9X sounds glorious
FK8 has a great stock transmission feel, E9X is great with Autosolutions SSK
FK8 is cheap to maintain, E9X oil changes already make me cringe.
On that note, the FK8 has got compliments from Soccer Moms, Kids/Teenagers, Grandmas. My E9X gets compliments from other douchebags.
