Nope they are not. I have a set of new guide rods and wishbones and they are rubber on the hub-side. Also you cannot press out the bearing on the subframe side as it is swaged into the arm itself. If that bearing is worn out you must replace the arm. That said, I have 130k kms on my car and still on original rear arms. The rubber is showing some cracks but the bearings are fine.
