I believe I have the optima redtop 35 with the Bimmerworld Optima Battery Mount Kit. previous owner installed this. Saves like 25 pounds. no idea if it was registered.
It's not currently on a tender and I frequently let the car sit 3-5 days at a time which seems like it's not recommended but so far so good. When it was at the detailer for like ten days I got a low battery warning when I picked up the car. I'm sure it didn't help that the detailer probably was opening and closing doors and trunk.
