Heh, the only time in my life i'm 100 percent sure I would've been effed without AWD was when I spun my celica into the ditch while messing around on a gravel road. Front tires went into the ditch, while the rears were still on the ground and the car backed right out of it.

Buuut....I would not have been messing around on a gravel road if my Celica hadn't been AWD.
