^ for me, the 911S whatever $90K+ likely $100K (with DCT) is more than I wish to spend, and the M3 has the feature of real rear seats. We have 2 kids.
I have reluctance at $70K for the M3 so that's near the most I am looking to spend. especially if it were for a less useable car.
