The "Performance Spec Weight Reduction" involves introducing hollow chambers into the wheels center pad in different places depending on the wheel type and/or style. This process significantly reduces weight, even by several pounds per wheel in some cases. The weight removed, the unsprung mass of the wheel, improves the vehicles handling and performance.
